Family Time![]() ![]() I live outside of Monroe, Washington, near Seattle, with my wife, 2 kids, and 2 dogs. We like to spend time on our boat, camping, and hanging out together at home. I have many hobbies, and several of them overlap. You can see some pictures and info below. |
Outdoor Time![]() ![]() I'm an avid fisherman and an occasional hunter. I grew up hunting and fishing with my dad and brother around Southern Idaho and now I fish Western Washginton, and do most of my hunting in Montana with my brother. |
Garage/Art Time![]() ![]() ![]() I do my best to spend time working outside in the garage or crafting something or another. Outside of knives and beer (featured separately on this site) I've made picture frames, window valances, wood boxes, work benches, stools, paintings, wood sheds, etc. I also spend time cleaning up and restoring tools or bits. In the past, I've worked on motorcyles and boats. Just generally I try to enhance my knowledge and skills around practical topics. Doing so has saved me a lot of time and money fixing things myself instead of hiring it out or replacing things. |
Brewing Time![]() ![]() ![]() I've been a home brewer for more than 10 years. I brew beer and cider and usually have something on tap at home. My signature recipes are my Mercenary ESB and Suicidal Porter. I spend enough time brewing that I built a workbench/bar in my office and turned it into a sort of brewery and pub. |
Personal Code Time![]() Tides App - I wanted a single app that had just the weather I wanted for Puget Sound, and nothing else. Time - Working with people overseas, what time is it over there? There's not much to this, but it's useful. This website - Well, it's for various reasons. |
Ham Radio TimeMy call sign is KI7TLGI recently picked up amatuer radio as hobby. It all started with the idea that running some sort of better radios than the FRS radios would help while hunting in the hills and became a bit of an obession. Now there's a radio in my truck, one at home, and one that I carry around on my boat or pack. |
Why Sasquatch?I'm 6'4". I'm certainly not a small guy. Back in 2012, I and a couple other large friends were headed out to ride our dirt bikes in Odessa, WA at the Desert 100 Poker Run. We needed a team name, so we came up with the Sasquatch as our mascot. We had a friend photoshop a motorcycle helmet on a Sasquatch and made "team" stickers. Great fun with great friends. I don't ride anymore, but I still have the Sasquatch as my personal mascot and avatar in several places. |
